What this policy covers
This policy explains how the Kingston Smiles NY website handles information about you. Your dental records are covered separately by our Notice of Privacy Practices under HIPAA, which you can ask for at the front desk.

When you request an appointment or send a question, we ask for:
- your name, phone number and email address
- your preferred day and time, and whether you’re a new patient
- anything you choose to tell us in the message box
Please don’t send medical details, insurance numbers or payment details through the website. Call us or bring them to your visit.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours records how it’s used: the pages visited, the device and browser, the general area a visit comes from and how the visitor found us. We use Google Analytics for this, and it uses cookies. It doesn’t tell us who you are.
Some pages show content from other services that may set their own cookies: Google Maps for directions and a reviews feed from Google.
How we use it

We don’t sell or rent your information, and we don’t use it for marketing without your permission.
Who can see it
Messages from the website go to the practice’s team. Our web host and analytics provider process data on our behalf. We share information with authorities only when the law requires it.
Security
The website uses an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to messages is limited to the people who need them. No website can promise complete security, which is why we ask you not to send health details through it.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information you’ve sent through the website, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site still works without analytics cookies.
Visitors under 13
This website is meant for adults. It isn’t aimed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.
