Which one is used for what?
Most visits only need digital X-rays. The 3D scan and the digital scanner are used when a treatment calls for them.

Why it matters to you
- You see what he sees. Images appear on screen in seconds, and Dr. Sayeed explains them before recommending anything.

Does advanced technology cost more?
Digital X-rays and digital scans are part of your exam or treatment. A 3D scan is quoted with your treatment plan, and some plans cover it.
Is the radiation safe?
Yes. Digital X-rays use very little radiation, and a dental 3D scan uses far less than a medical CT scan. X-rays are only taken when they are needed.
Can I get copies of my images?
Yes. We can send your X-rays or scans to you or to a specialist, at no extra charge.
